About Me

It all first began in 1984 with a Canon Ae-1 film camera that my father just bought after winning BIG in a NFL bet.

He said.. go have some fun, just dont drop it.

Did he teach me.. NOPE... the manual was still new and seemed untouched.

At age 14 or so, I had no clue what to shoot, how to shoot, and no-one even told me about the "dont open the film door in the light" policy.

Did any of my pictures come out... nope

Did my father yell... nope

My father saw me with a smile on my face, and pretty much saw my calling.

At 14, I didn't have a job yet, so lots of money was wasted finding out what my errors were.

At 16 years old, I found my first instructor at my local one hour photo lab.

At 21, I enrolled into a community college, took in beginner photography and darkroom.

20 years later, I am now in the digital era,

and I am still happy when I have a camera in my hand.
